iRobot Vacuum and Mop Review
The robot vacuum isn't afraid to tackle the stairs, unlike others. However, like all vacuums and mops it could get blocked by stray tennis shoes, ribbons and play jewelry, yarn, or other loose objects.
The iRobot Home App allows you to label rooms and create no-go zones. You can also monitor the performance of your mops as well as their battery status.
iRobot Combo j7+

In my tests it, the Combo J7+ did a great job at avoiding spraying water onto the rug. The robot backed off when it saw an area rug and did not attempt to go over it, even when I moved the rug around several times.
The arm comes with a 240mL tank, that is easily removed and filled. This makes it easier to use than the mop pads found on other 2-in-1 robotic arms. It also utilizes the iRobot's PrevisionVision obstacle avoidance technology which is more sophisticated than other systems of this type.
iRobot Combo i5
Designed for both vacuuming and mopping with the same machine This is an excellent option for those who are multitaskers. The vacuuming is done by using a special bin that can accommodate up to 60 days worth of debris. According to iRobot, this reduces the amount dust released into the air. The i5+ comes with a dual multi-surface rubber brush and Power-Lifting suction that can tackle dust and dirt hair, pet hair, and staining. Simply swap the Mopping Bin with a compatible cleaning product and you're ready to mop.
The i5+ runs iRobot OS and becomes smarter the more you use it. It will learn your floorplan, creating an Smart Map that remembers room names and your personal cleaning preferences. You can then direct it to clean your room or set a schedule for a whole level of your home through the iRobot app.
iRobot has built in the ability to recognize household clutter like cords shoes, toys, and bags. It will then automatically stop and return to its base to dock and recharge and complete the cleaning task at a later date. It is also voice-compatible with Amazon Alexa, Apple Siri and Google Assistant, understanding around 600 voice commands - far more than any competing 2-in-1 robot.
iRobot Combo j5
This robotic vacuum and mop from iRobot is a good option for homes with both carpets and hard floors. It uses smart mapping and avoids obstacles to efficiently clean. It also offers various mopping options that include a powerful SmartScrub system that can help clean tough stains. In addition, it has the ability to create No Mop Zones to ensure that carpets are not sucked up, and its dock automatically refills mopping solutions. The price is higher than the previous Roomba Combo j7+, but it offers more features.
Its patent-pending Mopping Drive System applies pressure to the floor to provide an even deeper clean and also removes tough stains. It can also reach under furniture and into tight spaces to provide an efficient clean. The Combo j5+ can also be used with the iRobot Clean Base to automatically remove dirt.

It can even create an entire map of your home, allowing you to clean your entire home in just one trip. It can also identify and avoid items like backpacks, cords pet toys, litter boxes, socks, shoes, and more for worry-free cleaning. With the iRobot app you can schedule your home's cleaning schedule and manage your robot from any location.
iRobot Combo i3
The iRobot Combo i3 is an upgraded version of the original Roomba i3. It has the same great external dirt compartment and a HEPA filter to snuff out allergens However, it now supports smart mapping. You can now create zones that are not accessible to prevent the vacuum from vacuuming the same areas repeatedly. The i3 Plus still has a bunch of other excellent features too like its advanced cleaning system that has a 10x power-lifting suction and three-stage cleaning process. It comes with a textured surface to keep dust, pet hair and fingerprints away.
It is able to perform well on unfinished floors and cleans most of the debris however, it was a bit difficult with pet hair on low-pile carpets. It does a fantastic job with high pile carpets though and is quieter than its rivals. The i3 is a little more expensive than the Roborock S4 Max but it has a self-emptying station which emptys the dirtbag, fills its water reservoir and cleans the mop pads.
With the i3 app you can create schedules to clean at a specific time to suit your requirements. You can also control your robot via your voice assistant to start or stop cleaning. It also monitors your home's unique floor layout to offer personalized scheduling and cleaning routines. It uses advanced mapping sensors to help you navigate hardwood and carpet floors, and it also teaches you how you clean to improve performance.
iRobot Combo i2
The Combo i2 is the latest robot vacuum and mop from iRobot. It is a combination of iRobot's intelligent floor cleaning technologies to make it a great choice for homes with hard floors and a few rugs or carpets. The Combo i2 has a combo system that allows it to switch between vacuuming or mopping with the push of one button. It also has iRobot's advanced navigation technology. Its PrevisionVision system is superior to the average and will avoid obstacles like power cables and steps.
Its Smart Map remembers the rooms you clean and your preferences. It can detect when the machine is located in a space that requires extra attention, such as a kitchen or living area. It also has the Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal System that eliminates dust automatically for up to 60 days.
